Jayne Pierson’s AW collection, THALIA, is inspired by surreal fairy tale and the transition between the real and the unreal and how the unreal manifests itself in reality, in the sense that boundaries normally fixed can dissolve, or become flexible. Inspired by Angela Carter’s book The Bloody Chamber, THALIA is set in a dark and intriguing dream-like world where fairytale myths and fables are subverted.
